Majarbhuyan draws wrath

Various parties and organizations seem to have upped ante on Ataur Rahman Majarbhuyan for his attempt to shy away from voting in the Rajya Sabha polls on Friday.

As the news of his decision spread like wildfire, hundreds of people in his constituency came to the streets and burnt his effigy for refusing to toe on the party line.

KMSS activists are fully prepared to stage dharna in front of his residence in Dispur and Katigarh in protest against his decision to avoid the poll.

The MLA left for Saudi Arabia for haj and that’s why, he apprised the party leadership of his inability to arrive Guwahati in time. Then the party decided stern action against him as soon as he arrives.
