15 kidnapped in Sonitpur

Sonitpur district bordering Arunachal Pradesh is still on the boil. Unidentified miscreants forcibly took away 15 girls and women on Monday morning hardly a week 12 villagers were killed in Chauldhuwa.

According to information, miscreants kidnapped these Adivashi and Karbi girls and women at gunpoint from Nomara area while they were working at a stone quarry.

Later the miscreants passed the information to the gaonburah and called him to hold a discussion on the issue. Details are awaited.
