Dalai Lama in Guwahati

Spiritual leader Dalai Lama is on a two days visit to Guwahati. With a hectic schedule, he arrived in the city on Saturday with an appeal to the people to maintain peace saying that there is no alternative to peace.

He attended a function at the Ravindra Bhawan in the evening. On Sunday, he has two public meetings in Nehru Stadium and Sankardev Kalakhetra. People in large number received the spiritual leader and preparations are afoot to make both the events success on Sunday.
