AASU protest against Cong

AASU activists across the state on Thursday staged dharna in protest against the fielding of Sanjay Singh in the Rajya Sabha polls.

Students in districts and sub divisional headquarters hanged  the effigies of Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul Gandhi, chief minister Tarun Gogoi and APCC president Bhubneswar Kalita in public places and later burnt down these alleging that the Congress party has been using the state as its dumping ground.
