Guljar laid to rest

Guljar Hussain was buried with full state honour in his ancestral home in Bihpuria on Wednesday a day after the additional superintendent of police in Sonitpur district died in an ambush by NDFB-S.

Thousands thronged at his residence on Monday night to pay their past respect to the lifeless Hussain after it was brought to Bihpuria.

His was buried on Wednesday at 10 in the morning in presence of top ranked police and civil officials along with hundreds of his friends and relatives.
