Lady ULFA leader dead!

A lady ULFA leader is believed to have died under mysterious circumstances in Myanmar camp. She was none other than Anju Saikia alias Dalimi Dutta who hailed from Gaurisagar in Sivasagar district.

But there is no confirmation either from ULFA or from the police. Police officials in Gaurisagar are tightlipped on the inputs even three days after the sad news spread like wildfire. Even the bod of the ULFA cultural secretary has yet to be spotted.

But sources told Assam Times that police got to know the incident a couple of days. But they have no official confirmation. Her family members have asked ULFA-I to confirm her death and to hand over the body.

She joined the outfit on 1990 and was arrested three times after getting married to a hardcore ULFA militant who was killed at an encounter a couple of months back.
