Its confirm. Despite differences controversial MP from UP Dr Sanjay Singh will file his nomination on Tuesday as the third choice candidate for the Rajya Sabha polls slated for February 7.

He is expected to file the nomination on Tuesday morning after completing the formalities before returning officer in Dispur. The party’s first choice candidate would be Bhubneswar Kalita who arrived in Guwahati on Monday morning.  

Accompanied by his wife, Dr Singh arrived in Guwahati on Monday evening and was received by education minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, Rekibuddin Ahhmed, Jayanta Malla Baruah.

Ayush healthcare system to train rural youths

The Ministry of Ayush and the Ministry of Rural Development have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop skilled manpower for the Ayush healthcare system.
