JFA to observe R-Day

Braving ULFA diktat, the Journalists’ Forum Assam is all set to celebrate the 65th Republic Day on Sunday.

The journalists body is scheduled to observe the red letter day with flag hoisting at the Guwahati Press Club in the morning.
JFA said that the people should celebrate both R-Day to pay homage to the martyrs.

Notably, a dozen of militant outfits operating in the north east imposed a general strike in the entire region on Sunday.
