Call for entries for EMFA Awards

Electronic Media Forum Assam has decided to organize EMFA Media Awards 2012 & 2013 in the first half of April 2014. In a meeting held at Guwahati Press Club on Thursday, the EMFA also called for the entries to the annual awards for the year 2013.

The entries either in CD or DVD format, which must be telecast through satellite channels during the period of 1st January to 31st December 2013, should be deposited at EMFA office desk (c/o Guwahati Press Club, Guwahati-781001) by 10 February next.

In another decision, the meeting has resolved to allow the non-news channels of Assam (like Rang, Ramdhenu, NE HiFi and Rengoni) to participate in the awards ceremony. For the programs telecast between 1st January and 31st December 2013 through these channels can be sent as entries for the EMFA Awards 2013 on or before 10 February 2014. The complete list for the EMFA Awards 2012 has already been finalized. The award function for the year 2012 was not organized due to some unavoidable reasons.
