In a bizzare incident that escalates tension and anxiety, a senior teacher has gone missing.             The incident took place when senior history  professor Dr Bhagawan Goswami did not reached his home hours after his son dropped him at the North East Book Fair premises at 8 PM on Saturday. His mobile phone also remains switched off. His family members have lodged an FIR with Chandmari police station.

The gang was operating a network of "mule bank accounts" to facilitate the transfer of illegally obtained money. Government Extends AFSPA in Manipur Amidst Ethnic Clashes

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today extended the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958, to six police stations across five districts in Manipur.
