Brand ambassador Amir Khan

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi Amir Khan would be the brand ambassador to give the state’s tourism sector a fresh lease of life.

Addressing a press conference in Dispur on Saturday, Gogoi said that he had a telephonic talk with the bollywood actor and director who told him that he was really impressed with Assam and its people. According to the chief minister, formalities are underway to declare Amir khan as the brand ambassador for this vital sector. On Friday, transport and tourism minister Chandan Sarkarr said that it was his desire to talk to the actor on behalf of the government.
