Nalbari Balst: 2 injured

Three peope have been injured while a powerful blast rocked a vegetable market in Nalbari. The explosion took place at 6in the evening. The injure peopes have been rushed to the hospital. They are Nalini Kalita, Rabindra Sarma and Biswajit Debnath. On the other hand, two hardcore ULFA cadres died at an encounter with army at the Dibru Saikhowa sanctuary. The encounter reportedly going on and the army jawans are cordoning off the entire area.

its really a human rights violation, so the government have to compensate those who are injured in the blast and to those family members of the victimis of these blast.

Its human rights violation by the terrorists. Why can't the terrorists compensate the family members of the victims. Does the government have to compensate you if robbers break into your house? It is high time to get rid of these terrorists and make life safe for the common man.

Its human rights abuses by the Rebels. these kinds of abuses are against Geneva conventions or humanatarian law. State should also break unlawfull killings and so-called encounters. Dialouge with the rebels is the only way of longlasting peace.

ULFA encounter averted in Sonari

Despite strict vigil, ULFA militants are moving with arms without any hindrance in Sivasagar district. Sonari police recovered a huge cache of explosives during a joint operation with army in Bahbari area on Saturday. But the ULFA men managed to vanish from the spot. DU student commits suicide in Delhi

Much to utter disappointment to the Assamese community in Delhi, a Delhi university student committed suicide on Saturday. The incident took place at Bijoynagar area where Sri Ram College student Abhishekh Saikia committed suicide by jumping down from a building in the capital. Minister’s convoy rams into dumper

Five security personnel guarding Water Resources Minister Rajib Lochan Pegu have been injured when their vehicle collided with a dumper truck at Golaghat on Saturday. The incident took place on the National Highway 37 near Dergaon when Pegu’s convoy was on its way from Jorhat to Guwahati. The driver is understood to have lost control over the pilot car before it rammed into the dumper truck. Three of whom are stated to be in serious condition. Job generating panel coming up: Gogoi

Dispur is contemplating an education and employment generation panel to link up the two so that the youth could get jobs with their education. According to chief minister Tarun Gogoi, said economic development of the state, education, employment generation and farmers were its top priorities. He further said that his government is mooting to launch a state nutrition mission to tackle the problems of anaemia and malnutrition, found among the women and children of Assam.
