Freshers Social and 8th Annual Cultural Meet of Delhi-based cultural organisation Shrishti was held on October 2 at Vijay Nagar, Delhi. Assam Khadi and Village Industries Board spread the spirit and the message of the day by distributing the tri-colours among citizens in Guwahati on the 67th Independence Day, August 15. Chairperson of Assam Khadi and Village Industries Board Juri Sarmah Bordoloi flagged off the campaign at Big Bazar, Bhangagarh by distributing national flags to the shoppers on the eve of the Independent Day on August 14.
