Freshers Social and 8th Annual Cultural Meet of Delhi-based cultural organisation Shrishti  was  held on October 2 at Vijay Nagar, Delhi. The event incuded songs, stage ragging, inauguration of Srishti's mouthpiece 'Saptaswa', etc. Assamese rock bank Zephyr and popular artist Dikshu enthralled the audience.

The employees of the Guwahati based private satellite news channel inform that the concerned officials of the management have declared about its closure from today.
