Encounter: 2 NDFB militants killed

Two hardcore NDFB leaders were killed at an encounter with security forces in Sonitpur district of Assam on Thursday. One of the duo were believed to the involved in the sensational killing of tea garden owner Adilur Rahman.

The encounter took place in the wee hours at Tawabari area in Rangapara during a combing  operation. The Bodo insurgent duo died on the spot. Police  further recovered  a pistol from their possession.
