Unidentified deadbody found at Singahadwar

An unidentified deadbody of a middle aged women found near Sivasagar Simaluguri road at 4 AM on Thursday. Local residents noticed the deadbody in the morning and informed it to the Cherakapar Police station. Police registered a case in this regard and sent the body to Sivasagar civil hospital for postmartem. Identity of the lady is yet unknown.

The Nazira District Konch Rajbanshi Sonmiloni observed the 506th Mahavir Chilarai Divas  with a day long programme at Nazira on February 22. A two-days-long 15th annual conference of the Sivasagar district All Assam Students Union (AASU) was held at Maut Gaon, Simaluguri on on January 4-5. The new executive committee  was formed in this conferance with Samiron Phukon became the general secretary and Ashim Dutta as the new president.
