Leopard terror at Maduri

A leopard has been creating terror at Maduri and its adjucent areas from last few days. A cow was killed by the leopard on Friday. Forest department people are trying to capture the leopard.

Villagers recovered a dead body of a 16 year old girl Tuesday morning from the Nahorhabi Tea Estate in Lakwa. Leopard killed at Nazira

A full grown leopard who created terror in Mazenga, Hudupara and its sorrunding rural areas in Nazira for the last several months was killed by the villagers on last Wednesday. After brutally killed the tiger people took away its flesh.On the other hand the forest officials lodge a case in Nazira police station in this regard a case is registered in Nazira police station bearing case No-15/15, under IPC 9/50/51 of Wild Life Protection Act.

AAMSU hits streets in Nazira

Over 100 AAMSU workers hit the streets in Nazira in protest against NDFB’s serial attacks in Kokrajhar, Chirang and Sonitpur where 68 people were killed on Tuesay.The workers of the All Assam Minorities Student  Union thronged the Nazira town and burnt the effigy of the NDFB-S shouting slogans against the massacre of the innocent people.
