The PWD quarters inside the Circle Office & PWD Office campus at Golaghat are in a worse condition. The quarters are not being repaired by the department from a long time.

Executive meeting of Assam Chambers of Commerce), Golaghat Unit was held at Indrani Guest House, Golaghat on March 18. The meeting was attended by a traders of Golaghat Town, where they proposed to make Sunday as weekly holiday instead of Thursday. They also decide to organize a Blood Donation Camp on April 7 for the greater interest of the Society. The meeting was presided over by Rajender Prasad Chandak.
