The college is lagging far behind than that of other government colleges of the state.

This time more than five hundred admission forms were submitted in each class against the seat capacity of 300 for both morning and afternoon shifts following which the college administration was in a fix. The college is having only 39 teaching staffs out of 69 posts for a long time.

Earlier, also this problem of seats in the college was informed authority concerned but till date nothing was done in this regard. This way, the problems seats has become recurring.

Meanwhile representatives of Dimasa Students’ Union met the principal of the college to take the stock of the situation and requested to find out the solution amicably. They also inspect the ongoing works of the college along with the Principal. Talking to this correspondent Thalendra Dibragede, President, DSU said they have been approaching the authority concerned time and again but nothing materialized so far. There fore they have decided to stage sit-in-demonstration of Monday next demanding immediate fulfillment of the vacant post of teachers and adequate infrastructures of the college.
