Voters found their names omitted

Not less than 176 voters under Baghara Gaon Panchayat will be deprived from casting vote in the ensuing Panchayat polls in Morigaon district.

According to sources, the names of the villagers of Middhralipather whose names omitted from the voters' list, were all Assamese people. The former MLA of Morigaon, Munin Mahanta expressed concern over these anomalies in voters list and demands the concerning authority to give the villagers their right back.
