Gogoi to figure Adivasi agitation in secuirty meeting

NEW DELHI: Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is attending a meeting of Chief Ministers on Thursday to discuss the state's security scenario. To be chaired by prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, the meeting will be attended by Director general pf police RN Mathur and top officials of the home department.

The meeting is discussing a slew of measures suggested by the Union home ministry to tackle the internal security situation. Mr Gogoi is all set to to give an account of the measures taken to handle militancy and other law and order situation. The Adivasi agitation over scheduling is likely to figure in the meeting.
