Rabha Hasongs withdraws strike

The embattled Rabha organisations have withdrawn the 48 hour National Highway bandh they called for in protest against the move to hold panchayat polls in the areas falling under the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council. The decision was taken following the government’s reported move to stall the poll process in these areas.
