ASDC’s one day convention to boost up Autonomous State movement
With the aims and objectives like to struggle against the State repression on Dima Hasao District, to resist the Assam Govt’s discrimination against Dima Hasao on Socio-Economic developments, to Unite to fight democratically against the Govt. for apathy to Dima Hasao etc, the Dima Hasao District Committee of Autonomous State Demand Committee and the ASDC Mahila Sangathan have organised a one day convention at Haflong on Friday(20.4.12) next.
The convention will be attended by ASDC President, Chomang Kro, and former ASDC MLA, Jagatsing Ingti, former Chairman, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Daniel Terron and all the District leaders of Dima Hasao ASDC.
Talking to this correspondent Sri Rathindra Thaosen, President, ASDC Dima Hasao District Committee disclosed that in the convention, State repression on Dima Hasao District and Assam Govt’s discrimination against Dima Hasao will be the prime issues for the discussion apart from adoption of strategy for strengthening the Autonomous State movement in both the districts of Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao.
