Tai cultural workshop at Bokota


Tai Ahom Development Council, in association with Siu-Ka-Pha Tai Cultural Centre of Bokota is running a 15-days workshop at Purbojyoti Club of Bokota-Parijat of Sivasagar district from February 19 to March 3. about 35 students from Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Golaghat and Sivasagar district are joining the workshop. Nabin Mohan, Sushil Mohan, Tilo Hatibarua are joining the workshop as trainers.

Simoluguri Police, in a tip-off, seized the several cartons of Tez guthka packets amounting to Rs.24,000 from one Juri Begum of Santak, Bogdai Gaon who brought the gutkhas to Santak from Jorhat on September 20.
