Bai-tho Puja at Dangori from March 8


The religious auspicious festival of Sonowal Kochari “Bai-tho puja” will be celebrated at Dangori-Borpathar of Tinsukia district March 4-7. The festival will start with manifestation of god, followed by main rituals of god, Haidang songs, Baghdew Puja, etc.

Simoluguri Police, in a tip-off, seized the several cartons of Tez guthka packets amounting to Rs.24,000 from one Juri Begum of Santak, Bogdai Gaon who brought the gutkhas to Santak from Jorhat on September 20.
