Indo-Pak ODI in Guwahati: Pak win toss, elect to bat
Amid watertight security arrangement, Pakistan is bating against India in the first ODI in Guwahati. The rush of cricket fans to the Nehru stadium began at 3-30 in the morning.
The entry began at around 6 as the match begins at 8-30 in the morning. All the VVIPs and VIPs have already arrived in the venue, including Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.
Thousands of people are also thronging on the roadside from the Hotel Brahmaputra Ashok right to the Nehru Stadium to get a glimpse of the players.
According to information, as many as 4000 security personnel have been put in place to ensure law and order situation during the match.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday afternoon, Team India captain Mohender Singh Dhoni exuded confidence that his team is trying their best to ensure victory in the first ODI. “We are working hard for it,” he said.
Pakistani team captain Shoaib Malik too is confident that they will be able to hog the limelight saying his team is in full form.
