Dr. Abani Chandra Goswami no more

Dr. Abani Chandra Goswami, a scientist who retired as the Head of the Department of Chemistry from Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology passed away this morning at his Jorhat residence. Dr. Goswami donated his Eyes to Jeuti Eye Bank and his body to Jorhat Medical College Hospital for further studies. He believed in life and pledged to help others live even after death and his promise went fullfilled. After noted social worker Suchibrata Raichoudhury I think Dr Goswami is second one who donated his body to the society.
