Folk-artist Mahendra Handique passes away
Dedicated folk-artist of Assamese culture, famous Dhul player and a follower of Vaishnovite religion, an upper division employee of ONGC, Mahendra Handique died in his home at Borborua-Handique gaon, Nazira, at an age of 83. Late Handique has left behind his three sons and three daughters.
