Sraddhanjali to “Sudhakantha” at Mumbai

Assamese Community of Mumbai organized a programme of “Sarbodharma Parthona” and “Bhupendra Sangeet” in the evening of November 12 at Assam Bhawan, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. People offered Puspanjali to Late Dr. Hazarika and prayed for eternal peace of departed soul. Naam Prasanga, Koran Recital, Geeta Path and Gurubani Recital were performed on the occasion.


In memory of Dr.Hazarika, people performed songs of Dr.Bhupen Hazarika and recited poems. Bhupendra Sangeet was performed by Debojit Saikia, S.S.Keot, Chitralee Goswami,Anjana Saikia, S.C. Deka, Chakradhar Nath and Sarodi Borah, Poems recited by Nayan Goswami and Riturporno Gohain, Chorus was performed by the ladies of Panvel.

The cultural night organized by Asom Vaisnav Samaj, Mumbai in association with Youth Club Mangaldoi, Assam at Fine Arts Society, Chembut Mumbai on 11th Feb 2012 was a grand success.
