Give Ranjan we will give you peace: NDFB


NDFB on Friday makes it clear that the peace initiative with the government won’t proceed unless and until chairman Ranjan Daimary is released immediately.


Addressing a press conference in the dense jungles along the Assam-Arunachal border, the outfit's education secretary B Naijib said figured three basic points apart from release of Ranjan Daimary. He said the government must allow the Bodo people to live in dignity. He further said the Bodo people must regain lost lands under 45 tribal belt and blocks.

Dibrugarh : There have been reports of Army atrocities and molestation in Lezai Village, near Dibrugarh a few days back. GUWAHATI, July 20: A powerful bomb exploded in Srirampur Chariali under Tamarhat police station in Kokrajhar district on Friday killing 4 people and seriously injuring 18 others.The bomb was kept on a bicycle which was kept in front of a shop near the ASTC counter.Two people died on the spot and eight sustained serious injuries.
