KAAC IPRD distributed, TV and DTH sets


A new comprehensive attempts initiated for the first time by the KAAC Information Public Relation Department (IPRD) for the NGOs, Self Help Groups and press clubs. Keeping aim to bring sensitization among the people on the different government’s formulated scheme, as many as 92 numbers of TV and DTH sets have been distributed to the registered NOGs, Self Help Groups (SHGs), District and Sub division level of press clubs for the first time by the Information and Public Relation Department (IPRD), KAAC. The formal ceremonial of distribution programme was held on Saturday at Diphu club hall.


During the formal electronic gadgets distribution function conducted by D Uphing Maslai, EM for IPRD, KAAC, Bhuban Chandra Terang, EM, i/c Health & Family Welfare Department, KAAC, Lanki Timung, EM, KAAC, Dhaneswar Engti, joint secretary, KAAC and Bidyasing Teran, chairman, Forest board remained present.


While explaining the aim and object of the function, Pradeeep Brahma, Deputy Director, IPRD, KAAC said that this is the first time which is can described as a comprehensive step of the KAAC. Elaborating on the schemes that adopted by the IPRD, Brahma said that the scheme comes in functional in strict guidance of Joy Ram Engleng, CEM, KAAC and smooth initiative of EM D Uphing Maslai .


Addressing the crowd beneficiaries, D Uphing Maslai said that this is a beginning and a little part of development from the IPRD. Due to insufficient of funds nothing innovative steps could be taken up earlier for the people. Now efforts have been made for different social welfare funds and State and Central government have been pressurized in this regard, Maslai said.


Meanwhile, he assured to do to his best level for any societal change of works in future. During the electronic gadgets distribution programme, Lanki Timung, EM, KAAC, Bhuban Chandra Terang, EM, KAAC and Dhaneswar Engti, Joint secretary of KAAC also delivered speech.
