EM, DHAC laid foundation stone
Bijoyendra Sengyung, Executive Member, i/c Handloom & Textiles laid the foundation stone of office building of Assistant Director, Handloom & Textiles here at Haflong in presence of Deputy Secretary, Ms Sabita Langthasa, Assistant Director, Handloom & Textiles Sri P.Jeme and others on August 26. It is learnt that the cost of the building would be 20 lakhs and would be constructed near the existing old office building.
Earlier EM and the Deputy Secretary were felicitated with gamosa and traditional sawal as a token of appreciation. Later all the office staffs of Assistant Director, Handloom & Textiles held a meeting with the Executive Member where in problems of the staffs were highlighted.
