The North East Biotechnological Consortium (NEBC), a research and development unit of Guwahati-based Education Research and Development Foundation, is organising a national seminar on ‘Biodiversity – Exploration, Conservation, and Utilization of Plant Resource’ with specific reference to North East, on December 18 and 19 in the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship.
Professor Dr MH Hazarika, chairman of the organising committee, stated that the two-day seminar is designed with a view to provide a platform to speakers from varied fields of Applied Life Science, indigenous technical knowledge bases, application of remote sensing and entrepreneurship development.
Open for academicians, students and professionals, the areas to be covered by this seminar are exploration and conservation of the rich biodiversity of the North East, intellectual property rights related-news relevant to topic, utilisation of the diverse bio-resources of the region.
