Hajor Batori felicitates Prassana Kumar Das

Prassana Kumar Das,an educationist and former Principal of Damdama Higher Secondary Secondary School was felicitated for his emmence work for the upliftment of Students of Hajo-Damdama Area by Hajor Batori, a rural newspaper held in a function at ITA Complex, Maskhowa on Sunday. Dr. Abani Kumar Bhagawati, Prof. Guwahati University attended the function as cief guest while Dr.Dinesh Baishya,Principal of B Barua College attended the programme as special guest. The Meeting was presided over by Dr.Dayananda Pathak an eminent educationist. A book titled'ARIYA' on life and work of Prassana Kumar Das was released on the occaision by Sri Dwipen Pathak, MLA Hajo constituency. Among others Sri Paresh Baishya Chief Editor Hajor Batori,Thaneswar Malakar, DC Udalguri, Dr.Jiban Dutta Barua, Sri Karendra Ch. Talukdar, former Principal of Damdama College and Sri Kanthiram Pathak spoke on the occaision.

Paresh Baishya Foundation organized a unique programme named "Prerona" for the unsuccessful students in the last HSLC exam. The inaugural programme was held at Guwahati Press Club on June 26. Radhika Mohan Bhagabati, eminent Journalist inaugurated the programme. Dr. Md. Taher, educationist, Dr. Dipesh Bhagabati, eminent Psychiatrist of Guwahati Medical College, Thaneswar Malakar, Director Minorities Devolopment Board, Assam and Dr. Basanta Kumar Das Former Secretary SEBA attended the meeting as guests of honour. A parents meet was held at Rampur Higher Secondary School, at at 2.30 pm on June 13 under the auspices of Paresh Baishya Foundation Parent School. Paresh Baishya, Manging Trustee of the Foundation delivered a lecture on "Scientific Behaviour of Parents and Future of Children" while Kanchan Chaudhary, Lecturer of Fakruddin Ali Ahmed College, Goroimari attended the meet as special guest.
