Assam swimming coach to train in USA

Rajib Dey, empanelled coach of Assam Swimming Association, is being invitation to Salo Swim Camp organised by the University of Southern California USA, from June 12 to July 1, where he will work and train under two-times Olympic Coach of USA David Salo. The participation of Rajib dey is expected to enhance his capacity as a swimming trainer.

BPF legislators have asked the Congress leadership to ensure the victory of Biswajeet Daimary in the Rajya Sabha polls otherwise the candidate would pull out of the poll process.Immediately after collecting the papers for withdrawal of the nomination by Daimary on Thursday, BPF MLAs tried to reach the Congress leadership to discuss the issue.The Congress leadership is believed to have told BPF not to take any hasty decision in this regard.
