Assam swimming coach to train in USA

Rajib Dey, empanelled coach of Assam Swimming Association, is being invitation to Salo Swim Camp organised by the University of Southern California USA, from June 12 to July 1, where he will work and train under two-times Olympic Coach of USA David Salo. The participation of Rajib dey is expected to enhance his capacity as a swimming trainer.

Four burgers carrying a huge consignment on the river Brahmaputra seems to have generated no less anxiety among the big dam protesters across the state.Amid tight security, the burgers were seen leaving towards Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday morning at the Pandu Ghat in Guwahati amid speculations of NHPC authority’s fresh attempt to procure big dam turbines.But the security personnel guarding the burgers are tightlipped on the consignment. Tension is simmering again in Bihali in Sonitpur district bordering Arunachal Pradesh after police recovered four bodies inside the forest area on Saturday.All the four persons have been remaining traceless since the Chauldhuwa episode where Arunachal Pradesh miscreants shoot dead 11 local villagers in January 29.They were believed to have been shot dead recently a more than a month before they were held in captivity. The bodies were identified as Burha Teron, Bishoy Teron, Maneswar Munda and Kancha.
