Kalaigaon Tangla students shine in HS  HSLC


People of Kalaigaon and Tangla have expressed satisfaction at the success of students of several schools in the HS and HSLC examinations.Although situated in most remote disturbed areas and hit by frequent bandhs,students belonging to both private and provincialised schools have shown satisfactory performance in the examinations.In the HS (CBSE),JNV,Kalaigaon schooltopped the success list with 98.5 percent success.Out of 67 students,66 passed.Devika Devi secured 90 marks in average.Madhab Sarma,Principal JNV Kalaigaon told media persons that the students of the school had performed better than previous years.Students of Kalaigaon College too have done very well this year in HS (AHSEC) final with 94 percent success.Out of 294 students 279 have passed.3 scored star marks while 33 secured first division.Arabinda Das, Principal, Kalaigaon College have expressed satisfaction at the success of students and said that the results had been improving.Students of Kalaigaon HSS too have shown excellence in HS examination with 82 percent success.


In the HSLC examination Kalaigaon HSS topped the success list among the provincialised schools in Udalguri district with 90 percent success.Out of 108 students,97 passed.(2 with distinction marks, 3 star marks and 13 in first division). Students of Bholabari HS also performed very well with 100 percent success.All the 40 students appeared have passed bringing glory to the village.The results of a few other provincialised schools of Kalaigaon area are -Sunjwrang HS (Bodo medium) 95 percent,(19 out of 20);Kalaigaon Girls HS 84 percent (31 out of 37);Tengabari Janata Vidyapith HS-83 percent (30 out of 38) etc.


Among private schools Students Jatiya Vidyalaya Asom,Tangla performed very well with 100 percent success.20 out of 20 candidates passed the HSLC (2 with distinction marks,4 with star marks and 9 in first division).Arunodoi Academy, Tangla students performance has also been satisfactory with 97 percent success.34 out of 35 candidates passed (one with distinction,3 with star and 14 in first division.)TEMHS,Tangla and Bright Life English School,Kalaigaon students also performed satisfactory results in the HSLC examination.
