PMGSY road in Dudhnoi

The state of implementation of PMGSY in Goalpara district is very poor, particularly in and around Dudhnoi. Earthen roads are seen in most of the cases, which become muddy even in a single rain. The photo shows a road constructed under PMGSY in 2010.

The GDP of the Indian sub-continent will touch points like 9, 10, 11…., due to FDI. But, places like we live in will always bear he tag ‘developing' because of the insincere human resource. Good roads and strong bridges reflect honesty, minimal corruption…road condition is the report card of a people, of a system.

Poacing strikes KNP: Rhino shot dead

Poaching refuses to die down in Kaziranga. Another one-horned rhino was shot dead in the famed Kaziranga National Park on. The carcass was spotted on Tuesday morning at Burhapahar. But the poachers failed to take away the horn. Talking to assamtimes, officials said that there were reports of firing from the Burhapahar range where forces launched an operation against the poachers. Bodo rally in Delhi against B’deshis
