Mob lynches ULFA leader

A senior ULFA cadre died while he was lynched by irate mob in Jorhat district on Monday.

According to information, angry villagers captured hardcore ULFA cadre Manoranjan Pegu alias Mangal Singh and two of his accomplices while he was firing at the vice president of Golaghat Agricultural Marketing Board at Jaraguri under Dergaon police station.

The villagers started lynching Manoranjan who died on the spot. Immediately after the incident and arrested the two associates of Manoranjan. Investigation is going on.
