More than 24 hours have passed but the information and where about of Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister is yet to be found. Some sources from the CM office said that he his safe but no one could find where is Dorji Khandu,CM of Arunachal Pradesh.
Three helicopters and more than 300 army people are being engaged in the search operation for the CM. Apart from Indian Army, Indian Air force, Sasastra Seema Bal (SSB) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and others are also actively engaged in search operation of chief minister. Communication has been made with the government of Bhutan and they have provided permission for search and rescue in there areas. Meanwhile two union ministers have reached Guwahati to get updates about the entire incident.
Bad weather has become hurdled this morning as search operation got some challenges due to this. But as search operation is on it is expected that the information would be collected soon. It is to be mentioned that Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has also come into the scene as they have engaged satellites to take picture and help in the search operation of missing CM.
Yesterday there was confusion in the afternoon with claims made by Arunachal Governor and then CM’s office and Defence spokesperson. But the fact till now is that there is no correct information about the helicopter for which operation to find the CM and others are on. It has bought confusion amongst the people of the region as there were different comments from different sources. As the search operation is on in full swing, it is expected that latest information and authentic information would be available soon.

It's same like the scenerio of Bin Laden. Wheathr US government got him alive or dead none knows. But Obama knows very well dead Bin Laden s very mush riskier issue than the alive one. So speculation is there that he might had been caught much before by bribing some agents of ISI; same way whether Khandu had been kidnapped by NSCN (K) or not, none can confirm excpet the Indian government. The rest is just speculation and rumr. may be.

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said that he has nothing to object if the Centre grants Bodoland. Talking to reporters in Delhi on Monday Gogoi said, “I am open to it. If the Government of India decides, I have no objection." But personally, Gogoi has maintained that he wants the ethnic minorities of the state to stay together, even though he is open to discussions regarding separate statehood.

An All India Congress Committee general secretary Avinash Pandey is on a visit to Diphu and Kokrajhar to study the statehood demands of various ethnic communities. AICC leader Avinash Pandey held a meeting with the state Congress leaders in Diphu a day before his visit to Goalpara and Kokrajhar districts where the demand for separate Kamtapur and Bodoland states is getting strident.State party leaders apprised him of the statehood demands of Karbi, Dimasa, Koch Rajbongshi and Bodo communities.He will submit his findings to Congress president Sonia Gandhi on his return to Delhi.
A dreaded KPLT militant was killed at an encounter with police in Karbi Anglong district on Saturday. The encounter took place during an operation in Bokajan where the militant identified as Tom died on the spot. Five other militants fled from the encounter spot. Later police recovered an AK-56 rifle along with a magazine, 72 rounds of bullets.
Two Achik National Volunteer Council militants were killed by locals residents along the Assam-Meghalaya border on Friday.According to police, a group of 7 militants had come to Darangthop under Agia police station for extortion to be attacked by an irate mob. Police claimed to have seized a pistol with one of the ultras of the proscribed outfit and raised an alarm. A US-made pistol, two rounds of live ammunition and two mobile phone hand sets were recovered from them. The deceased were identified as Nabang Changma and Wasi Changma.

Muslims in the state on Friday prayed for peace when they offered Namaz in the mosques and Eidgahs to mark the Eid Ul Fitre.Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi participated in a community prayer at Jorhat in the morning. Gogoi prayed for sustainable peace and brotherhood among the various communities in the time of simmering violence. Guwahati also witnessed special prayer at the historic Burha Jame Mosque.
The Bodo National Conference on Sunday resolved to intensify the
movement for creation separate Bodoland state.
The Bodo organization held an emergent executive meeting of the
conference PWD Bunglow chaired Hagrama Mohilary,BNC chairman and
resolved several resolutions including demanding of Bodoland in
Kokrajhar.
BNC Chief Convenor Kampa Borgoyary said that the meeting had a very
serious discussion on the issue of present political development
regarding the Telangana and creation of separate state in different
areas of India including Bodoland. BNC appealed to all elected Bodo
leaders from the council,MLAs and MPs to have a dharna at Jantar
Mantar demanding separate Bodoland...
An AGP delegation comprising MP Joseph Toppo and former ministers
Utpal Bora and Atul Bora was on a stock taking visit to Diphu on
Sunday. They held a meeting with local organisations and appealed that
violence be stopped and protesters press their demand in a democratic
manner. They further blamed it all on the government for this burning
situation.
