According to the locals, the company launched along with the administration an eviction drive on the people living along the National Highway 37 eight months ago and dug out their link road from home to the Highway without providing them any substitute for the same.

It is learnt that the locals complained the matter several times to the company officials as well as the Circle officer of Raha but either side paid no heed to the suffers of the area.

On the other hand these people were being made captive at their respective residents by recent flood as they had no link road to step out to the National Highway.
