Sainik School Alumni Meet
The annual day celebration of the Old Boys Association (OBA) of Sainik School Goalapara (SSG) will be held at Shilpagram, near Samkardev Kalakhetra in Guwahati on February 19 with a day long programme. The day long programme includes 13th Annual General Meeting of the OBA followed by cultural programme in the evening. OBA SSG used to organise the annual get together cum meeting every year. OBA SSG has done community activities including blood donation camps and rural health camps in different parts of the state. OBA SSG is one of the unique organisations as it includes professional from various backgrounds including senior defence officials, civil servant, doctors, engineers, teachers, journalists, sportsman to successful entrepreneurs. While the annual general meeting of the alumni association is scheduled from 10 am followed by lunch, the cultural evening will be held from 630 pm followed by dinner and OBA SSG has requested the participation and cooperation from all the past students of Sainik School Goalpara.

Goalpara Sainik School Old Boys Association (OBA) organised its 9th Blood Donation Camp at Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute on August 15. Organisers told Assam Times that as a part of the Sainik School Goalpara Golden Jubilee Celebration year, OBA has donated 46 units of blood by its members and families.
