IPF submits memo to Central Home Minister

In protest against inclusion of the Demand Area of the Indigenous People's Forum in the proposed Dima Hasao Territorial Council and with the Demand for immediate creation of a separate autonomous district with separate council with its Headquarters at Haflong under Articles 244(2) and 275(1) of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India for Non- Dimasa Indigenous People of N.C. Hills, the Indigenous People's Forum (IPF) has submitted a memorandum to Sri P. Chidambaram, Hon'ble Union Home Minister Govt. of India Through the Deputy Commissioner, N.C.Hills, Assam, Haflong on January 7.
