People of Nazira observed the 2nd death anniversary of Dr Bhupan Hazarika in front of Nazira Natya Mandir on Tuesday. On this occation Nazira Regional Student Union, Traders Association and different organizations of Nazira organised a Shardhanjoli programme at 5 PM. Over 500 people gathered on this occasion to remember Bhupen Hazarika. Remembering the music legand, over thousands of earthen lamps were lightenened in different places of Nazira town.

On this occation over 1000 earthen light were lightened by the AASU activitists in the bank of the historic Borbaruah Tank and they shouted slogans against the terrorism.
