Exhibition by GODWINS School

GODWINS School organized its Annual Exhibition 2010 on October 30 within the school campus at Sarusajai, NH 37, Guwahati. It was an event wherein students of the school displayed their talents and skills through their works. The school had a specific room on the models prepared relating to Assam’s culture and tradition. There was a big display of model on historical places of Sibsagar. Parents and visitors who attended the event found it exacting the real ones and appreciated the efforts put in by students of the school. There was also a section by the name of Arts Gallery where 25 best paintings of students of GODWINS School were displayed. The paintings were done under the supervision of Mr. Keith Heinzl from Austria, a visiting art teacher in the school. The students of the school also managed to construct a physical space replicating the universe and they explained the mechanisms involved in the working of our universe. Apart from it, there were displays of various Science experiments and Social models. An interesting section was on the preparation of models relating to phonetics, display of works through audio-visual means and environment related projects. There were various wall hangings, shapes and works on art and craft that were appreciated by parents and visitors. The day came to an end with great satisfaction from teachers, students and parents of the school and there was an inherent message of peace sent through the works in the form of wall paintings and models. The school plans to come up with similar events in future to feed the imagination of young minds.

Swargojyoti Motion Pictures is going to start a campaign against piracy in the state. The start up programme will be held at the Guwahati Press Club on 27th March at 11am.
