The government and ULFA are hammering out a slew of strategies to ensure the first ever round of peace talk by the next two months. This is what the message which came during the 2day long visit of government interlocutor PC Halder. The former intelligence bureau director held a closed door meet chief minister Tarun Gogoi at the latter's residence on Tuesday. Halder is understood to have discussed the modalities to hold the talk.
Earlier in the morning he visited ULFA boss Arabinda Rajkhowa inside the Guwahati central jail. The duo are believed to have discussed the recent development and the possible impact thereof.
