Kalongpar Vidyapith, one of the prominent junior college of Nagaon has successfully organised a career counselling programme in collaboration with its alumni association of the college on September 18. The counselling programme was held at the college campus. Counselling programme was facilitated by Ranjan K Baruah, youth activist as the counsellor. In the five hours session he explained various career right from defence like joining National Defence Academy (NDA) to civil service. Focussing on emerging career he focussed more on management course including social work, new media, etc. Encouraging the students he appealed them to take up challenges and plan for there future for a vibrant career. He was also focussing on careers and their scopes in north eastern region of the country. The programme was inaugurated by Bipul Katoky, Principal of Kalongpar Vidyapith. He spoke on the importance of having counselling and said that more of such programme would be conducted in campus in near future.
