Abahoni Limited lift Bordoloi trophy

Abahoni Limited of Bangladesh lift the presitgious Bordoloi Trophy at the end of a thrlling clash with 3 Star Club from Nepal on Wednesday in Guwahati. The 3 Star Club, Nepal was defeated by 3-0 gaols at the Nehru Stadium in the evening. The thrilling match was enjoyed by several thousands of football fans. The Nepal team has entered the final in their Bordoloi Trophy debut, while, Abahoni have played on earlier edition of the trophy. On the way to the final, 3 Star drew their quarterfinal matches to enter the semifinals. In the semifinals, the club defeated Assam Regimental Centre, Shillong 4-3 in the tie-breaker. The Abahoni drew one match and defeated ASEB in their quarterfinal league matches. In the semifinal, the team defeated local favourite Shillong Lajong 1-0.
