Assam Chief Minister is quite stable after two complicated heart surgeries on Wednesday. Talking to media after th end of 6-hour long surgeries, Dr Ramakanta panda who was leading teh team of doctors said a new valve has been installed while the old one was removed.

I pray for Mr. Gogoi's speedy recovery. Can the new plumbings take stress from 1000 crores loot from Cachar Hills during his administration? It shows how fragile our lives are, and it gives Gogoi opportunity--new life--to come clean with taking action against his corrupted Ministers. Else history will judge him the most corrupt admin in Assam's history so far. Less said the better!

Dr Hazarika stable

Assam Ratna Dr Bhupen Hazarika's condition is stable. According to the doctors attending on the ailing award-wining singer and film maker is out of danger and that his vital parameters are functioning normally. Dr Hazarika was rushed to Hayat Hospital in Guwahati on Thursday when he complain of respiratory distress.

No NE militant camp in Bhutan: Thnkley

Bhutan's Prime Minister Jigme Y. Thinley says he will never allow any militant outfits from Assam to set up base in the Himalayan kingdom. Talking to reporters during his breif halt at the Loka Priya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati on Friday he said his kingdom will ensure that no one is able to enter Bhutan to run subversive activities. He said he hardly beleives that no militant outfit from the northeastern region would be able to set up base in his country.

Assam not satisfied with Mamata Budget
