Reopen Manobendra case, Mahanta to Gogoi

The war of words between Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and AGP leader Prafulla Kumar Mahanta touched a new low. Continuing his war statement, the former chief minister dared his successor to reopen the sensational Manabendra Sarma killing case if the LOC case can be reopened. Talking to reporters in Guwahati on Wednesday, Mahanta said the Court has closed the LOC case and that Gogoi wants to reopen the case only to divert the focus on the Rs 1000 crore scam in Dima Hasao district.
